Easy set-up for Xerox with Mac
This printer is very easy to set up with a Mac. Instructions are clear and easy to follow, with specific Mac information provided as necessary. As is often the case, the printer driver that was provided was out of date, but it was very easy to download the most recent version from the Xerox site. I was up and running in less than 10 minutes.
The only thing that doesn't work properly is the information on supplies. When I request information on status of supplies, the Mac is unable to return that information. Would be nice to know when I am getting close to having to replace the cartridges.

Does the Job
I bought this printer because I was looking for wireless connectivity, color laser technology and scanning capability, all with a small footprint. (I would have also liked auto-duplexig, but so far, I haven't found a printer with all my wish-list items.) It also has faxing, but I don't use that so can't comment on it.
I use the printer with a Mac and it does what I was looking for, although the print speed is very slow. I'm not too knowledgeable about networking, but I was able to get the wireless working without too much difficulty, and that includes the ability to scan wirelessly. Moreover, I switched modems and routers and the printer is still working wirelessly.
I have a few complaints. The first is manual duplex printing on a Mac is not as straight-forward as it is on a PC (I sometimes print to it from my work PC wirelessly, with no problems). The second is handling of custom paper sizes. The printer will accept the custom size, but when the next document prints, even though it is set to use a standard size, the printer's panel is expecting the custom size. (I have to resset the paper size via the panel.) My final issue is that when I print using the single sheet feed (to print a custom envelope), it prints OK but ithe panel indicates that I need to load the custom size in the main tray. All of these issues I can workaround, but they make for only a fair user experience.
Overall, in terms of my checklist of features, I got what I was looking for. It offers great color, and for the price (online for $270 including tax), I think it's a good value (maybe even a better value if you're a PC user).

Printer Is Not User Friendly
I recently purchased the WorkCentre 6015. As someone who has installed and set-up many Xerox printers, this small printer took hours to set up and some of the capabilities never did not work with my Mac. Furthermore, the printer does not have an internal paper tray, so the tray is always open; exposing the paper. Also, the wireless scanning option did not work on this printer. I looked online and found that others were having the same issue. The only way to use the scanner is to set it up for networking. Possibly, users with PC's may not encounter the issues I did. On the flip side, the color quality is great and the printer is very compact. I am a fan of Xerox, they have some of the greatest printers, although a good amount of re-work is needed before I can recommend.
